Es wird für den 23. Oktober 2021 zu einer bunten Demonstration für das Recht auf selbstbestimmte Familienplanung und Sexualität sowie das Recht auf einen legalen und sicheren Schwangerschaftsabbruch auf. Damit wird gleichzeitig gegen den 1000-Kreuze-Marsch, der zeitgleich in Münster stattfindet, protestiert.
+++ Was ist der 1000-Kreuze-Marsch? +++
Der jährlich stattfindende Marsch vereint christlich-fundamentalistische Gruppen, AfD-Mitglieder und andere ultra-konservative Organisationen. Gemeinsam ist ihnen, dass sie Schwangeren das Recht absprechen, über ihren Körper selbst zu bestimmen. Sie stellen eine Abtreibung als unmoralisch oder sogar als Mord dar, und fordern das totale Verbot und die Bestrafung von Betroffenen und Ärzt*innen.
+++ Was wollen die? +++
Hinter dem Marsch steckt die Anti-Choice-Bewegung, deren Sympathisant*innen seit vielen Jahren in der ganzen Republik Beratungsstellen und Ärzt*innen drangsalieren: Mit Einschüchterungen, Auflauern, juristischen Klagewellen und öffentlichem Bloßstellen wollen sie verhindern, dass ungewollt Schwangere die Möglichkeit bekommen, sich professionell über Schwangerschaftsabbrüche beraten und diesen durchführen zu lassen. Mit ihrem Marsch demonstrieren sie Macht gegenüber den Betroffenen.
+++ Was will der Gegenprotest? +++
Der Protest soll ein Zeichen gegen antifeministische und rückwärtsgewandte Kräfte setzen. Gerade in Zeiten, in denen rechte Gruppen versuchen, veraltete Frauen- und Familienbilder wieder zu stärken, braucht es ein starkes Signal für sexuelle Selbstbestimmung aus der Zivilgesellschaft. Deshalb wird zur Teilnahme an den Gegenprotesten am 23. Oktober aufgerufen. Es wird gefordert:
- den uneingeschränkten Zugang zu Informationen und einem legalen Schwangerschaftsabbruch und die Streichung der §§ 218 und 219 aus dem Strafgesetzbuch,
- soziale und ökonomische staatliche Unterstützung und die notwendige Infrastruktur für alle, die sich für ein Kind entscheiden, damit sie ihre eigene Lebensplanung aufrecht erhalten können,
- den kostenlosen Zugang zu Verhütungsmitteln,
- eine Sexualaufklärung, die es allen ermöglicht, sich in sexueller Selbstbestimmtheit zu entwickeln.

PROTEST AGAINST A MARCH OF ANTI-CHOICE-ACTIVISTS
+++ What’s going on right now? +++
The Bündnis für sexuelle Selbstbestimmung (alliance for sexual self-determination) asks for your involvement in an all inclusive protest on the 23rd of October 2021 for the right to sexual self-determination, to family planning, to a self-determined sexuality, and to legal and safe abortions. At the same time this is a protest against the so-called 1000-Kreuze-Marsch (the march of 1000 crosses) which will take place at the same time.
+++ What is this “1000-Kreuze Marsch” about? +++
This annual march unites fundamentalist Christian groups, members of the right-wing AfD party (Alternative for Germany) and other ultraconservative organisations. What they have in common is their belief that pregnant people should not be able to make decisions about their own bodies. They paint abortions as something amoral or even as murder; and demand the complete prohibition of abortions and the punishment of all people who decide to have abortions and the punishment of all health care providers carrying out abortions.
+++ Who are they and what do they want? +++
Behind this is the anti-choice movement whose sympathizers have been harassing consultation centres and doctors with intimidation tactics, waylaying, floods of lawsuits and public shaming all across Germany. They want to prevent people experiencing an unwanted pregnancy from even having the opportunity to access information about abortions, and much less getting one. With this march they try to display their power.
+++ What is wanted? +++
We want to take a stand against anti-feminist and reactionary powers. Especially in times of right-wing groups trying to reinforce an outdated image of women and families, we need to oppose them from within the civic society. This is why we call for the participation in our protest on the 23rd of Otober . We demand:
• Unconditional access to information about abortions and unconditional access to safe and legal abortions and the deletion of §§218 and 219 from the German Criminal Code (StGB),
• social and economic support from the state and the necessary infrastructure for erverbody who decides to have a child, so that they can maintain their plans for the future,
• free access to contraceptives,
• sex education that allows everybody to develop sexual selfdetermination and autonomy.
