We accompany Leslie Kern on her travels to Toronto, New York, London and Paris, where she gets to the bottom of the myths and lies of the new crisis of the cities, making it clear that violent repression is closely linked to classism, racism and sexism and is a continuation of the colonial project.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Titel Feminist City erscheint nun ein weiteres Werk der kanadischen Professorin Leslie Kern: Gentrifizierung lässt sich nicht aufhalten und andere Lügen. Wir begleiten die Autorin auf ihren Reisen nach Toronto, New York, London und Paris, wo sie den Mythen und Lügen der neuen Krise der Städte auf den Grund geht und dabei deutlich macht, dass die gewaltvolle Verdrängung eng mit Klassismus, Rassismus und Sexismus verbunden und eine Fortsetzung des kolonialen Projekts ist.
