We would like to invite all trans* people and those who want to show solidarity to commem-orate the individuals who were and still are affected by trans*phobic violence. These individuals who were killed by others or by the societies they lived in. Therefore, a memorial event will take place at the Aasee-Terrassen on the 20th of November 2026 starting at 16:30.
We want to reclaim the narrative about our pain, our anger, and fear and shape the Trans* Day of Remembrance in Münster into a day of com-memoration by us and for us. You are welcome to bring flowers or similar to lay down at the event.
There will be an awareness-team present to which you can turn if you are in need of help or feel uncomfortable. Afterwards, the a.Cat (Her-warthstr. 7) will be available as a space for company, sharing experiences or having a few drinks.
Cis people are welcome to attend, but we would like to remind you that this is an event of commemoration and not of education. We would be pleased to see you feeling responsible for the safety of the attendees and the event, as well as keeping an eye on your environment.
